Toe links are catching quite a lot of dust and dirt from below the car.
To protect the rod end spherical bearings from getting dirty and wearing out prematurely, we advise to install these Nitrile boots.
While others use standard rubber boots, we've decided to use the more expensive Nitrile based boot.
The big advantage of these Nitrile boots is that they are
easy to install (you will not tear these open at installation) and because they are a lot more flexible than the rubber items,
they will last much longer!
Clean the rod end bearings before installation. Then install the boots and fill them with a
Molybdem Fortified grease. Cover the ends with
Sienna grease, which will protect the Moly Fortified grease from washing out.
