Nitron have spent years developing their road and racing suspension kits and have designed them to last.
Nitron shock kits must be installed correctly and to a high standard to fulfil their full potential.
To help you getting the most out of it, Nitron have developed the installation kit to help professional installers (and the home mechanic) to fit and maintain their Nitron suspension to factory standards.
One of the most important factors in maintaining the dampers is to keep them clean.
The rod shaft should be regularly greased with the body and spring cleaned of any road / track debris.
Crucially, the bearings connecting the dampers to the chassis
should remain sealed by the ‘Oï¾’rings. When fitting the shocks it is important that the ムOï¾’rings are properly seated and greased, preventing the seal from perishing and inviting the ingress of water and debris.
Incorrectly installed, dry or damaged ムOメrings could significantly reduce the life cycle of the end bearings and induce premature
failure.
The Nitron installation kit comprises 10g of OEM assembly grease and a complete set of replacement ムOメrings for the entire vehicle.
Nitron advise that each ムOメring
receives a thin layer of the grease
before installation.
The kit contains enough grease for around 3 annual shock services and is available for both the ムNTRメ and ムStreet Seriesメ range
