CL Brakes are this new standard and have proven to perform better than RS42 pads.

These pads have always been rated as very good for serious track use of Elise equipped with steel brake discs.

The RS42 is a racing brake pad with superb allround characteristics. Very stable in terms of fading and will resist constant brake temperatures up to 500 ºC. As every Pagid pad, these pads are friendly to the discs in terms of wear and protect you from Vapour Lock due to a high termal resistance to the base plate.

The RS42 is more of an allround pad which will perform good both on road and track. The RS14 is developed for lightweight cars and is suited very well for the Lotus Elise/Exige
