I want to order original Lotus parts, do you carry all of them in stock?

No, Lotus carries approx. 70k parts in their database. It’s not possible for us to stock these parts. Most of them will be ordered when you placed your order. Delivery time varies, if the parts are in stock at Lotus, we’re currently looking at 3-4 weeks. If the products are not in stock it can take a long time.

Are all other parts in stock?

Most of them are!

We do our upmost to keep stock of all our own products. Due to high demand or shortages in the market we sometimes are looking at an empty shelf. When this happens, we will do everything we can to replenish stock and send the order to you as soon as possible.

Do you split orders automatically?

No. When you place your order, you are being charged for one shipment.

Once your order is complete we will ship it as soon as we can.

If however you would want to have a partial shipment we are happy to organise that for you. We will ship what we have at that point and will let you know once the remainder of the order is complete. At that point we will calculate the shipping cost for the remainder and charge that to you.

I am a Lotus club member, do I get a discount?

We at elise-shop.com strive to provide all people with honest pricing. In our opinion discount structures are unfair to people who are not a club member or even forget to mention they are a club member, so no.. sorry, we don’t offer club discounts.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Are your prices including VAT?

No, our prices are listed excluding VAT. Main reason for this is because we sell and ship worldwide which means different VAT levels per country in the EU and zero VAT outside the EU.

However, once you’re logged in and place parts in your shopping cart, we will correctly calculate VAT for you.

I am from the UK, how does it all work after Brexit?

We will not charge you VAT in our checkout. However, when the product(s) arrive in the UK, the courier will contact you to pay for VAT and they will charge a service fee for the import admin. This is usually between £10-£15.

You want me to pay on-line, are your methods secure?

Absolutely!

We’ve done everything to make your shopping experience as secure as possible. We don’t store credit card details, in fact we don’t even see them.

Warranty

What warranty do you provide on parts?

If not overruled by a manufacturer by providing a longer period, the standard warranty period is 12 months.

Warranty only applies to the part you’ve bought. We do not warranty any labour cost, downtime etc.

What is the difference between an item marked as consumable and items which are not marked like that?

Some of the items we’re selling are marked as consumables. These are items like timing belts, sensors and car electronics.

Consumables are basically items which can cause big issues if they go wrong or which we are not able to check if they are ok or not.

This means that once you open the packaging the product can’t be returned anymore other than under warranty. If returned under warranty, we will contact the manufacturer to have the product tested and checked to see what the root cause is of any failure. Once we know, we will be able to say a warranty claim will be honoured or not.

What happens with the return cost for a part returned under warranty?

Any part returned under warranty will be checked. Either by us or by the manufacturer.

Once a warranty claim is honoured, we will refund the shipping cost up to the value we charged to you for the shipment.

Order history from our previous website

I can't see my order history? What's happening?

At the beginning of December 2023 we’ve changed systems for our website, bookkeeping and logistics.

Unfortunately, the old systems are not compatible with the new ones. We were not able to import order data in our new systems.

We are still running the old website internally, none of the data has been lost. All pending orders will be fulfilled from the old systems.

Is it possible to see if an order went into the old website or into the new one?

Absolutely!

If your order number is below 89000 the order was made on our previous website. If the order number is above 90000 the order was made on our new website.

Will history of new orders be kept?

Yes! All history will be stored on the new systems. You will be able to find your order history and more (invoices etc)
